Psst...
We've got a secret...
We get stuck too
We've been there, and periodically we find ourselves there again - We get stuck trying to solve that tough case. We get in ruts where we feel like we are going nowhere with our client. We definitely have found ourselves using familiar tools that work most of the time, but have struggled to help that one person really succeed. We've gone to many continuing education courses trying to find that new skill for our toolbox that we must be missing. We've struggled to figure out how to clinically apply concepts that are way too theoretical.
We bet you're probably here because know there is something more to neurorehab than just learning a new technique. You want to learn that secret sauce that will really make the difference in your outcomes.
The secret to moving forward?
...It's about going deeper.
You have to get in there with your client and understand who they are as a person. It's about using your soft skills to tackle the hard things that keep both you and your client from moving to the next level.

Learning with Mike Studer
"This course helped to validate the importance of establishing a therapeutic relationship/alliance with each patient and that it's not only okay, but essential to take the time necessary to do so. Mike was able to take what I've always thought of as "the art of PT (or patient care)" and demonstrate evidence and research to showcase its importance and effectiveness."

Learn the Secrets to the Soft Skills
"There are so many ways! Definitely making me re-think how I approach my initial evaluation with a patient, as that can make such an impact on potential outcomes. Made me realize how our words and cueing can make a significant difference."
"I think it helped me appreciate some of the behavioral economic strategies I already do and appreciate and helps me think about how to adapt some more changes in patients."
"Definitely appreciated your emphasis on individualizing to the client's needs, listening, and using the client's vernacular to help them see that you're listening and taking in what they say. I really like your input regarding behavioural economics and how using these more emphasizes the brain science behind the change we're trying to help the client make."
